A Baltimore shop that also comes to you
Heavy truck and trailer repair from a shop on Ponca Street in Canton, for owner operators, drayage fleets working the port, and regional carriers running the I-95 corridor.
How the operation works
We started with one service truck working the port areas and the I-95 corridor, doing the calls that shops with fixed bays could not reach quickly enough. That is still the core of what we do. Most of the trucks we help never come into the building, because most of what strands a tractor is fixable where it sits if the person who arrives has the parts and the software on board.
The shop exists for the work mobile service genuinely cannot do properly. In frame overhauls, full transmission removals, brake relines, alignment, structural welding and anything that needs a lift, an overhead crane or a controlled environment. Having both under one roof means a tow ends in a bay with a documented fault rather than in a yard waiting for somebody to look at it.
Our customers are mostly local: drayage operations running Seagirt and Dundalk Marine Terminal, distribution fleets in the Rosedale and Elkridge corridors, vocational operators across Anne Arundel County, and owner operators who need somebody who answers the phone and knows what they are describing. The duty cycles around here are hard on brakes, tires and aftertreatment systems, and the work we do reflects that.

Four things we do not compromise on
These are the decisions that make the difference between a repair that holds and one you pay for twice.
Diagnose before you order parts
A fault code names a circuit, not a component. We test the actual part, wiring and connections before anything gets ordered, because repeat repairs are almost always a diagnosis problem rather than a parts problem.
Stop and call when the job grows
If we open something up and find more than the estimate covered, work stops and you get a phone call with the cost and the revised timeline. Nobody opens an invoice and discovers work they did not approve.
Write the numbers down
Brake pushrod stroke by wheel end, lining thickness, tread depth by position. Measured values rather than check marks, so you can trend them and so the file holds up when an auditor asks.
Say no when no is the right answer
Some work belongs at a dealer under warranty. Some repairs are not worth doing on a truck at that mileage. We would rather lose the job than take money for something we would not spend it on ourselves.

The shop
Bays sized for tractor trailer combinations, with the diagnostic licences and tooling to work on the major engine, transmission and chassis platforms rather than a subset of them.
Diagnostics
Manufacturer level software for Cummins, Detroit, Paccar and Caterpillar rather than generic readers, which is what allows actuator calibration, cylinder cutout testing and forced regens.
Heavy repair
Engine support and overhead crane access for in frame work, transmission jacks rated for heavy duty units, and heavy duty alignment equipment for caster and thrust angle.
Mobile fleet
Service units carrying diagnostic laptops, air tooling, welding capability, common tire sizes, batteries and air system components, with amber warning lighting and scene safety equipment.
What customers say
We run eleven tractors out of the port and used to lose a day every time one needed a brake job. They work through our yard on a schedule now and hand back stroke measurements on every wheel end. Our roadside call outs are down by more than half since we started.
